Goals
Our goal is to deliver the highest standard of care throughout the entire disease journey: from diagnosis through treatment and long-term follow-up. We are committed to prompt personalized care that addresses each patient’s medical and emotional needs.
Areas of Expertise
We offer advanced, multidisciplinary care using state-of-the-art technologies. Our services include oncologic surgery (including laparotomy, vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic techniques), chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal and biologic treatments, and access to innovative clinical trials. We also provide specialized follow-up clinics, including care for patients with genetic predispositions. Each treatment plan is tailored through a multidisciplinary team approach.
At Hadassah Medical Center, education and training are a central part of our mission. Each year, medical students, interns, and residents, nursing students and Post-Graduate Nursing Certification, join our department to receive specialized training in gynecologic oncology, combining advanced clinical care with academic excellence.
Our department provides a rich and diverse clinical environment, exposing trainees to a wide range of conditions, from early diagnosis to complex surgical and oncologic care. This high-volume experience, together with close mentorship from senior specialists, allows young physicians to develop strong clinical skills, multidisciplinary thinking, and patient-centered care.
Our programs are committed not only to clinical excellence, but also to research, innovation, and continuous learning, preparing the next generation of physicians to become leaders in gynecologic oncology.
At Hadassah, we are proud to be one of the nation’s leading cancer research institutes. Our teams bring together expertise in cancer prevention, data science, immunology, cell therapy, and translational research, all united by a common goal: to reduce cancer risk and improve patient outcomes through cutting-edge science. Our close collaboration with researchers at the Hebrew University enhances our ability to innovate and rapidly translate discoveries from bench to bedside. We actively participate in all major clinical trials, as GOG, ENGOT, and industry-sponsored studies, offering our patients access to the latest therapies. With a high volume of patients enrolled in clinical trials, we strive to provide every eligible patient the opportunity to benefit from pioneering treatments while contributing to the advancement of cancer care worldwide
